Life has been like a roller coaster ride lately. And note: Charmaine doesn't like roller coasters...(Penguin : Stupid Solero Shot scene)
Finals are on next week and here I am blogging in my college library computer lab...isn't much of a lab but ya, the place where all the comps are. I soooo can't wait to finish reading all my syllabus and then go for the exams and pass it all and go to Russia...okay, maybe not the Russia part, but the HOLIDAY PART!!!
I've even listed things that I'm to do during the Holiday before I go on the super long 6 years nightmare, roller coaster ride in Russia.
Things to do:
- Spend loads of time with my family members - Papa, Mama, GG, Dua Yi, Yi Yi, Jaslynn (I wanna go sleepover and movie marathon xD!!!!)
- People to meet up and spend quality time with:
San and Juju -- AT LEAST 10 TIMES. Sleepover craze!!! xD
Jeff Fire Girl -- Really hang out together and perhaps do some recording!
Amelia -- The Childhood friend I won't want to miss out. Sleepover okay?! I don't care if you're having SPM, I still want to kacau you. xP
Joee -- Will never forget this almost-Japanese obasan. Would really wanna spend time with her more. Will never forget the times we spend together studying like crazy for SPM.
CF Committee - Mun Wah, Wei Ren, Jennifer and Natalie. :)
CF - I really miss CF. Will go back at least once, promise.
Form 4 - 5 best buddies - Sook Yee, Shu Wei and Ee Zhen. You girls better spend some time with me oh! (hehehe) xD
- Visit Genting, Sunway Lagoon, Pulau Redang with Bonnie, Johor (hometown), Sarawak for the rainforest thing (not sure if mom managed to book places).
- Watch Memories in Bali, Boys Before Flowers, Cinderella Man (Korean series).
- Go for all my dance classes (have 14 hours to finish before August)
- SHOPPING! (For all necessary and needed stuff to Russia)
- Listen to all the sermons (esp. God of Ancient China by Pastor Kong) and read all the Christian books that I've been storing up for quite some time now.
- Read up all my storybooks so I won't have to bring them all to Russia. :)
- Practice and practice and more practice for violin and guitar.
But before all those can be achieved....study comes first, exam comes second and that comes last. Fail exam = No Russia
Okay...better stop fantasizing about the future and concentrate on the present...for now - STUDY MODE ON! (please pray for me to ace all my exam papers - Biology, Physics, Chemistry esp and Math)

`18 and Legal
June 2nd 2009
I'm officially 18 and legal. :)
Had quite a few celebration this year. ^^. All of them were surprises. Thanks so much guys for having to plan all those celebration. :) *big hug*
First my cell group surprised me with a sudden surprise celebration after our cell group ended last Sunday. They bought me green tea cake (too bad I don't have the pictures with me) and it was delicious. ^^. Love my cell group sooo sooo much.
Then on my birthday itself, my godbrother and his family decided to pay me a surprise visit. And they even brought a cake home-made by Seow Hui (dunno if it's the right spelling) Jie Jie!

Parents got me a new HP laptop! Touch screen tablet laptop ^^.
Apart from that, my friends in college also decided to celebrate Vivien, Jeremy and my birthday plus farewell for Ee Von who successfully got the JPA scholarship all at one go. Funny how so many of things are happening in just one week. Melvin was the 'organizer' and I suppose Bonnie, Dalwin and Prakesh has something to do with the preparation as well but they were all clueless from the start, or perhaps they purposely act clueless. But the birthday surprise party was a nice, decent one. They booked a part of KFC in the Mall and we ate and sang the birthday song and cut the cake (the normal, traidition way). Then came the mini sabo where Wilson evilly put chili sauce on Jeremy's head. xP Aiks.

And all my presents. I really love all of it. :)
- Card, Ipod speakers (the monkey head thing), red packets, laptop, bracelet from fire girl, jack jack stuff from vivien. Thank you guys so much ^^.
And apart from that, on June 2nd night. The whole CF camp committee + CF 2008/2009 Committe decided to 'spice' up the night by giving me a call all the way from their camp. It was already close to midnight by then and they had to postponed their meeting to 12 am just because fo that meaningful phone call. I was shocked when everyone started singing the birthday song through the phone and everything practically went hiatus after that. So many voices, but I only have a pair of ears. They were making me play the guessing who'se voice is it game and I guess I could say I scored pretty well. (Sorry Shu Min, I remembered you always but the just couldn't recall the name *paiseh*). But I really felt honored and touched having the whole bunch of them call me in the middle of the night to wish me happy birthday and other stuff.
LOVE YOU GUYS!!! CF ROCKS!!! :) Rock on for GOD!!!!
So that's basically how I spent my 18th birthday. :) I didn't have any super huge party and neither did I went to the pub for the first time in my life as a legal lady. However, all those surprises, wishes and sincere love and care touched my heart like never before. It really opened my heart and eyes to see that sincere friendship and truly caring for one person really means a lot to a person. ^^.
Most importantly, all glory goes to God who at the very first place decided to create me wonderfully! ^^

`Roast Duck
ROASTED DUCK!!!!!

Usually Roast Duck don't come knocking on my door for no reason...(mom doesn't like me to eat ducks too much though I LOVE IT...). So here's the story.
Tuesday = Russian class.
So I woke up and went for lunch with my lovely Yi Yi (aunt) who's ever so willing to fetch me to the LRT Station even if it means having her to drive all the way from Puchong to OUG. Love her! Muax :)
So after half an hour ride in the LRT, (thank God for music and I-pods!!!), I reached my college to find most of my classmates walking out of the building. Weird...had a bad feeling but I just left it aside and head up to my college floor.
Walked into the college and saw my friend Kong Wai, on the phone. Upon seeing me in college, he quickly ended his call and greeted me with something i soooo didn't want to hear....
Okay. Right....How am i suppose to get back home now??? The thought of having to wait till 6:30 pm just to follow my mom home almost killed me ... mind you, class SUPPOSEDLY starts at 2 pm and I reached half an hour earlier. That leaves me with 5 LONG HOURS to spare. Sigh.
After some panicking and calming down by Kong Wai, Danny and Melvin - who was nice enough to suggest me doing his assignment for him until 6:30 pm. -.-", I walked over to the notice board to see my Russian class postponed all the way to 2nd of June!
So ... I called mom, who told me to called aunt hoon, who did not pick up, which leaves me with my last option -- Call Aunt Kim, who so willingly said yes to fetching me home. Amen!
So when we were heading home, Aunt Kim wanted to get some roast duck by the street, those lorry that sells roast duck kind, since her relatives were here in town and they loved duck as much as I do. And she belanja-ed me one big packet of roast duck!!! :D weee~~~~
And just weeks ago, I was complaining to Kent, Jeff and Amanda when we were eating duck rice for brunch after CG, how my mom doesn't like having to buy those roast duck for me cause she claims it's dirty. I got my whole packet of duck, which of course I was happy to share with my maid and my sister. :)
This show how good God is. ^^. Aunt Kim really is a blessing in disguise. Don't get me started on how much she has blessed me ever since the time we got close together because me and her daughter were really good friends. ^^.
YAY! MY ROASTED DUCK!!!! YUMZ!!!!! xP.
