New things won't come if old things don't go.
Only half a day left to 2009, make that 11 hours. Many have done their part in setting a new year resolution, some have not and some don't even bother. `Thanks to...
Have always wanted to do a list of thank yous to all that have been there with me and still is walking the journey together with me. Though we may not have say it face to face to each other, please know that I appreciate each and everyone of you truly.
To AMELIA The hippy fashionista. The one who has always been there for me when I need company. The one who listens to my rants and raves despite being busy. Thank you for willingly lending your ears to me, laughing together with me and giving me a shoulder to cry on. You are a childhood friend I'll never ever forget. Although a year younger than me, you fascinate me with your knowledge of the world and friendliness to build relationships with people. Keep on the good work and do your best in your SPM examinations ahead. No matter what happens, know that I'll be there for you even when I'm halfway around the world and do not give up in whatever u do. Even if it means courting a superbly cute guy. As you always say, just do it! xP
To CASSANDRA & JEWEL The bffs, the ones who always encourages me. Knowing you girls from the start of primary 6 and form 1, you both always stick by my side and shove me with sincere love and care. San san, I remember how you were always like a loving mother, taking care of me when I was sick. You would stay by my side until I was feeling much better. You'd trust me with most of your secrets and I thank you for your trust in me. :) Joojoo, although we may have loads of misunderstandings and arguments throughout the years, I'm really glad we still maintain this close friendship. You write story amazingly well and I really look up to you on that. Thanks for teaching me how to play the guitar and pulling me into CF even when I didn't want to (I didn't regret going to CF :)). You both girls are my really close friends, and I thank God I came to know the both of you. Do remember about our trip to wherever when we finish our courses in the future ya!! God bless. ^^.
To JEFF - FIRE GAL The strong one, the loyal one. Although we came to know each other better only during mid-year of form 3, I really am happy at how fast our friendship grow. I'm glad you trusted me and am even more happy now that you are finally attending church, to top on to that, you're attending the same church as me! Thank you for willingly stay back after school hours just to teman me, Never give up easily and do have faith in Him and yourself. You ARE a talented girl, perhaps it's not the time for you to bloom yet. I believe the time will come soon. No matter where the future may lead us too, I will be there for you when you need help. Don't let the dreams God gave you perish, but keep it and grow it until the time is right to release it and shake the whole world! Believe that you can! :)
To MWAH JANICE The passionate, hungry for God one. Thank you for walking with me throughout this journey in high school for 4 years! I have really learned a lot from you and with you. It's really a pleasure to see you grow together with me. Although our roads are clearly different in the future, I know you'll succeed in your life and will continue to grow strongly in faith for Him. Thanks for your wise advices during these years and thanks for helping me a lot not only in CF but also my studies, my relationships and my problems. I really hope our friendship can continue to stay as strong as it is now and hopefully we'll meet each other and spend some time with each other in the future, perhaps a gathering or a short meeting with each other and all the other committees? The best of luck in the future and God bless, my sister!
To EZ the PENGUIN Haha, although we may not have spend much time with each other since we became closer to each other as friends only during the start of form 5, I'm really glad to have a cute, wonderful penguin friend like you. As a 'penguin', you have always brought laughter to all of us in class with your cold jokes, guess you've learnt all those jokes from South Pole eh? Just kidding, and yes I know I'm lame. I really appreciate the times we spent together, the four of us clicked instantly at the start of form 5 and have been closer than ever since then and I really enjoyed this year because of you girls. I believe we share almost the same dreams together, and I do sincerely hope that your dream will come to past in the future! You are a good singer and a good friend, also a great joker, no one would ever be bored around you. Keep that funny personality with you and I'm sure you'll be loved more than ever. Hope we still keep this four-girls-friendship strong no matter where we will go or where we are in the future. :) Best of wishes to you, dear penguin!
To SOOK YEE the BEAR Teehee, :D. I doubt you'd even read this but I've still got to say thank you for all that you have done for me in the last 3 years. As a good friend, you did not only help me out with my Add Maths xP, you even helped me out with my problems and gave good encouragement and support to me when I was facing the down times of my life. I've bought your nestle hot cocoa with marshmellows with it from USA and will give you as soon as I see you rofl. I'm really glad to have been able to help you back with your English subject and also be a good friend to you. Thanks so much for always being there for me whether in class or not. No matter what happens, do know you are still a dear friend to me. Hope we will keep each other in contact until we get old, get married, get kids, get a family and so on...Remember to invite me to your wedding ya!!!!!! xP
To SHU WEI the PIG Sorry la that you're the pig of the group. Well at least you aren't the elephant lol. I'm really happy for u and ur 'ta-de-ta'. Can't believe we've known each other for YEARS! Like, since standard 1 in primary school. Lol, still remember the first day when your mom talked to my mom and we were the only two person queing up in the super big main hall of Chen Moh. Haha, i can still remember the baby face you had. Lol, and thanks for being such a good companion and a friend. The laughters and memories we've shared together since form 4 will be kept deeply in my heart. I believe we'll still keep in contact in the future as promised.
To CHEN It's weird writing a thank you note to you. But still, thanks for the mapling hours we spent together bullying the newbies and making fun of everyone else. Lol, it has really been a wonderful time playing maple with you and the rest of the group. Funny how we got to know each other closer as friends because of maple, will never forget the times you'd play up till 2 to 3 am in the morning just to beat us up in leveling and making the best out of the level up thingy u bought with CASH -.-" Haha. All the best in the years ahead and yes I know I still owe you a cupcake. I'll try to get you one....from maple xP. Jkjk. Till then, best wishes.
To BEN It's weird writing a thank you note to you too... >.<". Honestly, you have a great voice and good looks, you are indeed a good friend too. Although we didn't get to spend much time with each other after form 3 but you're still a great friend and a good maple buddy too. ^^. Continue to aim towards your dreams, but remember, studies is also still important. Sorry if I sound like puan Joyce. xP. Remember to continue to shine on for Him and live life to the fullest. Live with joy and smiles. All the best and God bless, take care!
To FEI CHING You have a big heart, big personality and I totally admire your hardwork to serve for Him. Children ministry, choir and leading a cell group must be tough for one having to sit for SPM eh? But with no doubt you trusted you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you, and I really look up to you for having such strong faith. You have always encouraged me, temaning me to Kasturi (sorry la I qin-gam-xiu-jie, dunno how to take the bus >.<") and always helping me out so much. Although we may not have spend much quality time together with each other, I can see from the way you are close with Yee Lai and Hui Ching and the rest of the gang that you are really a great friend, a fun girl to be with and a loving person. I really regret for not being able to spend more time with you during our highschool times. But I really do hope that we'll meet each other once in a while during church gatherings and stuff like that. Will try to inform you when my church is having anything on. You're always welcomed in CHC!!!! ^^. God bless and take care my sister, continue to shine for Him!
There are still loads of others to thank for. But since they're not from the same school as me and not the same age as me so I decided to save it up. But still to those who are not in the list, I still do appreciate all of you. Thanks so much for being a wonderful friend and made my life in high school fun and wonderful! :)
To the girls! Friends forever!!! :D
Till then, God bless and take care. Love much, Charmaine.

`Ice-Skate!!!
Went ice-skating in Pyramid with Joojoo (jewel) and San (ting san) a few days before having to leave for America.
Was there the earliest and waited for both princesses in front of Starbucks, lol. And to get off with the boredom, actually it wasn't so long and there wasn't much of a boredom since I did walk around and shopped for a hairtie I needed for America trip, also helped my mom collected her vouchers from Loccitane, this is what I have done:
Yup, since i had my camera with me so why not snap some nice pic of the nice decoratives the nice people of sunway pyramid decided to put up nicely? After trying to take the perfect photo since the tree is superbly tall and can't really fit into my camera perfectly until i adjusted it well, the two princesses finally arrived with Joojoo first and Ting San last. But they had their good reasons ^^. And I was superbly early, so they were not superbly late. xP
After meeting up and getting some buns from Breadstory since we didn't wanted to waste anymore time, we bought our passes and got into the rink. It's the first time we skated together ever since we first met when we were form 1, excluding me and jewel which was in standard 6. It was a great memory to have. :)
And after some skating hours, we decided to finally stop at 3pm and started window-shopping, or just walking around doing nothing but chatting. Since Joo had a great appetite that day we decided to stop by this shop at the toppest floor in Sunway Pyramid's Asian Avenue and try out what Joojoo has introduced to us!
Some thingy wrap with somethingy that is filled with floss. Yes, the only positive thing I know that's inside that thingy is floss but whatever is in there apart from that is YUMMY and DELICIOUS! And it's not super filling so dun have to worry of getting toooooo fat. Thanks Joo for the reccomend. It was really good, will go there for more when I drop by Sunway Pyramid.
After more shopping and camwhoring and looking at clothes and eating ice creams, we decided to call it off for the day and head home with me going back first. Lol, I guess the earliest one will leave first then the second and the last? Weird but it was really like that that day. Lol. And Joojoo and San, I'm not mad at u guys being a lil' late and the princess word is not for sarcasm alright, it's really that u girls are princesses. Oh gosh this is so weird -.-" and yuk ma.
See that extra hand, guess whose? xP

`Crush
I hung up the phone tonight Something happened for the first time Deep inside.. It was a rush, what a rush Cause the possibility that you would ever feel the same way about me It's just too much, just too much
Why do I keep running from the truth All I ever think about is you You got me hypnotized, so mesmerized And I just got to know..
[Chorus] Do you ever think when your all alone All that we can be, where this thing can go Am I crazy or falling in love Is it real or just another crush Do you catch a breath when I look at you Are you holding back, like the way I do Cuz I try and try to walk away, But I know this crush ain't goin away, goin away
Has it ever cross your mind When we're hangin spending time girl Are we just friends Is there more, is there more See it's a chance we've gotta take Cause I believe that we can make this into something that will last, Last forever, forever
[Chorus]
Why do I keep running from the truth All I ever think about is you You got me hypnotized, so mesmerized And I just got to know..
Do you ever think when your all alone All that we can be, where this thing can go Am I crazy or falling in love Is it real or just another crush Do you catch a breath when I look at you Are you holding back, like the way I do Cuz I try and try to walk away, But I know this crush ain't goin away x5

`An America Entry
Date: 13.12.2008 Time: 0600 (GMT +08:00) Destination: Next stop! America!'
First stop: Los Angeles and San Diego
After driving another 2 hours from LA International Airport to our lovely hotel -- Carlsbad Inn Beachside Hotel somewhere in San Diego, we did nothing but ... SLEEP. Yup, sleep. 16 hours of flight really killed our day even though it was like 3 in the noon in San Diego, US. After a short rest, dad went out with his friends for a puff and bought back loadsa provisions like hotdogs and stuff like that since we'll be staying in that hotel for 9 days and the hotel was so nice they provided kitchen to each room. :)
Cam-whoring in the plane since we were so bored
Dad's car number plate in USA. (yes we rent car, not following tour)
Since mom was having a wedding dinner (her boss's son's wedding dinner), so she came a day later than us. And thanks to that I had to cook for two days continuous, actually 5 days continuous until I couldn't wake up early anymore and mom had to do breakfast xP. And because of her dinner, me, my sis and my dad visited Legoland alone with my dad's friends and their family.
The rides there are superbly kiddy, well most of them are. But the thing that really fascinated me in there is that everything in there is made out of Lego. From the chairs to the roller coaster (well, lego-lookalike-plastic, if not everyone would be off track). It was superbly beautiful. We finished off our day in Legoland by taking a short cruise around the place in a lovely boat and the boat-tour-guide brought us to see miniature buildings and places made of nothing but lego. They even have the whole New York Town, Paris's Eiffel Tower and Taj Mahal made out of legos.
The Miniature New York City
Mr. Hot Octopus and his band
The Eiffel Tower
And yes, the lion is made out of Leg too!
After Legoland we drove another 2 hours back to LA International Airport to pick my mom up. I was so stress when my dad was driving, since he's just new to the 'left-hand-drive' thingy, he almost bang two cars for driving too out of the lane in the highway. And thinking that I could get a nap after taking care of the bunch of kids in Legoland, I was more than awake until mom took over my place when she came into the car. :D
The next place we went was Disneyland in California.
My family and the kids I took care of (cute, lovely kids):
Baby boy (mom carrying) - Eric (3+), Brown Jacket - Lisa (6), Orange Jacket - Sarah (8)
Me and my sis
Since they broke the Disneyland in California into two parks, so it wasn't as much fun or as big as it was before. But it was still cool. Got to watch night parades and the lights were so beautiful. Also manage to capture something cool.
Look at the photo, notice a white smokey thing on top? Some say it is Casper's head, some say it's ghost. It appears every dunno-how-many-minutes and only some people can capture. I suppose it's casper since it's disney... Well, lucky me.
The Beautiful Castle
The fireworks at the closing ceremony in Disney at the Castle was the most beautiful 'scene' I've ever seen in my life so far. The fireworks were great and I was on front row!!! :D And apart from that it was winter so it was cooling, and it was close to Christmas so they sprayed those man-made snow after the fireworks. The only thing that sort of kills the scenery was people making out after the fireworks, SO MANY OF THEM! -.-" I mean it's not a wrong thing to do but, well, so many small kids were there. Lol. But I also secretly fantasize of having to be proposed or something like that there, it's so romantic! xP
After Disney, the third day we went to Sea World in San Diego. Shamu - a very famous Whale, did some shows and it was awesome. They had this soak zone where the whale would splash water on all the audience in that zone. LOL. I was somewhere in there when that happened but since it started drizzling and we were already wet so it wasn't much of a fun. xP. And we also visited the PENGUINS!!!! If only EE ZHEN was there she'd scream her head off cos they're so adorable! I also manage to touch the Stingrays and the Starfish. The stupid guide there lied and said that by touching the Starfish, you'll get this stinky smell on your hands for weeks! Well, fyi to everyone, that doesn't occur unless the starfish is dead, and yes if it is dead it release this super stinky smell, worse than well, faeces. The San Diego Zoo was also a nice place to visit, but nothing really attracted us in there apart from the cute panda bears and the weird zebra body, horse + donkey head combined animal, so we decided to call the day off early and head to the beach, which was awesomely beautiful especially when sunset. Ah so romantic xP.
We also visited Universal Studios in LA!!! Too bad we didn't get to meet any famous actors or actresses there but it was good enough. The rides, the yummy food (we had chinese cuisine instead of usual hamburgers and fastfoods -.-"), the shopping and the shows we watch paid it all off. We also get to go behind the scenes of Heroes 2 and other animated or well, need animation shows. Like how they do special effects and stuff like that. It was absolutely fun. And if anyone is going there anytime soon I totally recommend their famous ride - The simpsons ride!!! It's new and it's awesome!
We also visited Vegas and loads of Shopping Outlets!!! Hehe, and the clothes and stuff there are really cheap. Original Polo Shirt from Ralph Lauren costs like a bomb in Malaysia but in the Shopping Outlets, it's only like 10 dollars, so it's RM 40, around there, RM 37.?? actually. And the Levis jeans which normally costs like RM 200 ++ in here cost like 10-30 dollars there, so means, it's like RM 100 or somewhere lesser than that, and that's like not with the additional discounts yet! We bought so much that we had to buy another handcarry luggage to fit all our stuff in it, xP. Oh well, it's like a shopping heaven there. Even Juicy Couture is so much cheaper. And crocs which cost RM 126 in here cost only RM 30 over there, so bought myself a pair of crocs (bright pink!), a new sportshoe from Reebok and a pretty shoe from Skechers!!!! Together with jeans, shirts and make-ups set! This is really a blessing!!!
Even though I didn't get to go to prom, or spend my Christmas with my aunt and her family adn my childhood family, which i really hope to spend with, it still paid off. Just the part that I got sick until now since the time I stepped into the plane back home killed my spirits a lil. OVerall, it's still a big big big blessing and I still got what I want for Christmas xP!!! Wee~~~~

`My Genting Trip
Came back from Genting and finally got to sit down, relax and use the computer all to myself. Thanks so much to sudden new projects and annoying but cute bratz like my godbro and my sis. Actually, they're not very annoying, just slightly. xP
First day went up at around 12+pm. It was cool, the weather and everything was great. Cooling and relaxing, everything I needed. So we settled down (my family), since my dad insisted that my family must be there just in case for any emergency. So they stayed at my aunt's apartment with my godbro's family and my oldest aunt whereas I stayed at Shu Wei's apartment, which was actually a few rooms away from my aunt's apartment. Lol. Funny right? And my mum joked that if we're neighbors it'd be even funnier.
So after my family and I ate a good lunch in some restaurant at Gohtong Jaya, my bunch of friends finally reached. They left earlier than me by bus from KL but ended up we reached first. It was very jam though, and their bus got delayed a lil'. >.<" And so after that I went to Shu Wei's place and settle down, and we started our shoe-making.
After hard work...
We're done!!! ^^. Our crystal shoe is finally produced beautifully.
Symbols / Meanings
The clover : 4 of us - Sook Yee(pink), Charmaine (Dark Blue), Ee Zhen (Light blue) and Shu Wei (lavender-purple). All our favourite colours.
The front alphabets (our second name) : Me - Haneul. Sook Yee - Eunhye. Shu Wei - Yoona. Ee Zhen - Soojin/Eugene.
Our second names is according to the story that me and Sook Yee is writing so it's all Korean names. LOL.
And after that, we enjoyed our dinner!!! - STEAMBOAT!
And some crazy people wanted bread for supper. Well, at least she enjoyed it herself. Lol.
Of course after so much hardwork, we had to relax ourselves.
And they slept around 2 - 3 am. Crazy bunch of people. I on the other hand slept earlier. Thanks to different-air-pressure-sickness. I always get that on the first night I spend on different pressure areas, like underground or at the mountains like Cameron and Genting. Vomittish and headache-y. So I slept around 11.
Sigh, i'll miss my bunch of friends. Of course we'll still go out and hang out together, but once we study overseas, I can't help but feel things are going to change at least a lil. BUt oh well, that's a growing process. We have to learn to take and learn to let go and give when the time is up. :)
I'LL MISS YOU GIRLS!!!!

Penguin! Elephant! Pig! and Bear! Fighting~~~!!!! :)
