Went to Port Dickson the weekend before exam and I really had the time of my life. Of good and of bad.

My dad had my hopes and expectations kept SOOO high when he told us how his friend who suggested and booked the place for us, describe the lovely beach resort to him. Together with the indoor manmade beach, I thought this holiday is going to be a blast.

well... ...minus the "I-STILL-HAVE-to-STUDY" part.

Yet when we arrived...I felt as though my expectations fell into a drain, or deeper than that - a well? The rooms were so....woody, yes, the only word to describe - WOODY. The air cond was old and weird, the bathroom was so small and dirty...even the chairs are made of wood and the TV is so small...(Okay, maybe it was my expectations being too high). I almost wanted to cry right there and then ... I mean, I'm so much of an environment person. I can't study well with an environment that's not....peaceful and friendly to me and my emotions usually alters to the environment of the place I'm being at or in. My family was so shock, my dad was even thinking how our money got cheated just like that because the photos in the website were so nice. (Lesson learnt : don't trust the internet too much). These are a few pics of the hotel room.

In the bed room

The living room - dad and mom + wood, curtain and tv (woodiness)

Toilet - notice how the sink is outside -.-"

More wood - Dining hall and kitchen (which had roach smell)

But then, after having a really good, night sleep and clearing all my emotions off, I began to realize this trip acts like a trial for me before I head over to Russia. Life isn't going to be a bed of roses in Russia, there'd be cockroaches and rats in the hostel who knows, and it might be even smaller and worse than the hotel, and the environment may not be friendly and all peaceful to me, but this is life, learn to appreciate the things you have.

Besides, after I learn to look from the point of view, everything seem to go from bad to good. (now it really seems as though it's a test by God lol). I met up with Eric, Lisa and Sara, the kids I went to America with, and they were as cute and lovely as ever. Went for a disgusting lunch with my mom and my sis but the time spent was SOOOO worth it. Then swimming with the kids in the evening (spotted a leng chai xP, so it's worth it too HAHA) and then went for a great dinner with all of them. After dinner, we came back to see more activities - some funny gag show and acroba and I got my FIRST KINDER JOY! Haha. I secretly wanted to see what was inside since the first time I spotted it ages ago ... I still have the kid in me. And also got a fan that spells words!!!! ^^. Oh I feel like a kid.

Lesson learned : Don't trust internet too much. AND the most important : Always look from the brighter point of view and you'll see things change to a better course, as you are the one who is responsible for choosing to let your day be a bad day, or a good day. :)
